TN - Exploring Light with Optics - Telescopes

Workshop Abstract: Optics underlies many important technologies including the powerful telescopes that allow us to peer deep into the universe. In this workshop we’ll explore the fundamental concepts of telescopes and how astronomical images are made. We’ll also explore the optical designs of several professional telescopes and what they have taught us about the universe. Collaborations between Perimeter Institute researchers and classroom teachers have produced this classroom ready resource, Exploring Light with Optics.
