TN - Temperature Rising

Workshop Abstracts: In this workshop participants are introduced to several different activities found in the Temperature Rising resource. Specifically, the workshop introduces several simple and easy heat transfer demonstrations and links them to Earth science. The presentation also examines thermal expansion and how this is related to ocean sciences. Finally, participants examine the concept of “parts-per-million” and relate this concept to global climate change through an investigation using climate data.
