TN - Automated for the Future

Workshop Abstract: In this session, participants investigate the Automated for the Future resource through an investigation of three examples of automated systems.  First, the Global Positioning System is examined, and participants complete an activity based on a simplified model of GPS.  Next, the session discusses the importance of coding in automated systems and how it can be modeled in a classroom.  Finally, participants engage in a discussion about autonomous vehicles and their ethical considerations and use in society.
